This product is used for lightning counting in external lightning protection systems such as lightning arresters and down conductors.

Installation preparation: Please read this manual carefully before installation and prepare a Phillips screwdriver.

1. The lightning strike counter can be fixed on a 40X4 flat steel or 10-90mm2 cable or round steel.

2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the transparent cover, loosen the screws in the four diagonal holes, and adjust or remove the lightning strike counter mounting bracket.

3. Place the collected wires (copper bars, cables, down conductors) in the fixed bracket, tighten the screws in the four diagonal holes to fix the counter, and then install the transparent cover of the counter.

4. This product is installed on lightning rods, lightning strips, and down conductors to monitor and record the number of lightning strikes invading the line; It can also be installed on various surge protector (SPD) grounding wires to monitor and record the number of lightning intrusions.

5. The wires that need to be monitored must be threaded between the counter and the fixed bracket, regardless of direction.

6. The lightning strike counter will have 1-10 lightning strike test records when it leaves the factory, and this counter cannot be reset to zero.

7. This product does not require debugging and is generally in working condition once connected. When the counter records 【 999999 】, please replace it with a lightning strike counter of the same specification.
